The history of the company dates back to the middle of the last century – in 1959, the Jonava Melioration Machinery Station (MMS) was established on the base of the former Markutiskes Machinery Technical Station (MTS).

The Jonava Reclamation Construction Board (MMS) was established at the Markutiškės base.

By increasing the volume of work, the production base was expanded and in 1969. after the construction of warehouses, repair workshops and an administrative building, the institution was moved to the city of Jonava. That year, the company was one of the leading reclamation companies in Lithuania and was awarded republican awards.

Jonava MSV since 1965. until 1991 installed 12 ponds, drained almost 40 thousand ha of land, irrigation systems were installed on an area of 600 ha, three agricultural airfields, several railway beds were built in the Jonava district, a lot of work was done on the construction of the Kaunas airport in Karmėlava and other objects.

1990
Since 1990 in the course of transformations and the reduction of work in Lithuania, MSV had to work in the Russian Federation in the fields of road construction and land reclamation, as well as in Belarus for the construction of residential micro-districts, where it gained new construction experience and learned to work in a western way under the supervision of Germans, gaining authority among Lithuanian builders. It also rebuilt its financial position during the recession.

1994 - 2004
Jonavas melioration construction board was privatized and became AB “Jonavas hidrotechnika”, which in 2004 reorganized into Jonavos hidrotechnika UAB. Next, next to the reduced land reclamation works, they successfully proceeded to the construction of hydroelectric power plants, installing roads and foundations for wind power parks.
